Adrianna Jordan


Adrianna Jordan has been the Bridgeport Charter Township Manager since October 2020. She oversees an $8 million budget, a 40-person workforce, and all township departments, operations, policies and programs related to public safety, economic development, community services, planning, assessing, infrastructure, recreation, and community engagement.

Some of Adrianna’s initial goals for Bridgeport include funding and constructing a new township hall, working in partnership with the Bridgeport-Spaulding Community School District and Saginaw Future on various initiatives to move the community forward, getting Bridgeport “Redevelopment Ready Communities Certified”, improving Bridgeport’s mobility infrastructure to attract new economic development, building on the Township’s existing trail and water trail network, marketing and finding buyers for township-owned vacant properties, capitalizing on grant opportunities to reduce operation and capital costs, and mitigating the spread of COVID-19 through best practices in public health.

Adrianna grew up in Ann Arbor, MI and has worked in and on behalf of local and state governments for over 17 years. Before becoming Bridgeport’s Township Manager, she served for three years as Planning Director for the City of Inkster, MI. Before that, Adrianna worked in the cities of Novi and Dearborn, as well as the Michigan Safe Routes to School program. Adrianna has also worked in various capacities as a consultant on diverse projects ranging from a water taxi and trolley feasibility study for the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy to an EDA grant-funded Port of Muskegon economic feasibility study. Prior to returning to Michigan in 2011 to raise her family, Adrianna lived and worked in California for a decade and held positions with Caltrans and municipal consulting firms. In 2018, Adrianna also co-founded an urban big data startup called Quantifly and won seed-funding and second place in GeniusNY, the world’s largest drone-related business competition.

She has a bachelor’s of science in architecture from University of Michigan – Ann Arbor, a master’s degree with distinction in city and regional planning, and a master’s of transportation engineering from Cal Poly – San Luis Obispo. She is also certified by the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP), and is also a member of the American Planning Association, and the Michigan Association of Planning. Additionally, Adrianna is the mother of a 10-year-old son, 1-year-old daughter, and one mischievous cat.

Adrianna is committed to working as a team with Bridgeport’s residents, businesses, and community leaders to grow the township into an economically thriving, industrious, innovative, equitable, safe, and healthy community.
