The Bridgeport Charter Township Board of Review will be reviewing Poverty Exemption Applications at their July 21, 2020 meeting. The deadline to submit applications for review at this meeting is July 17, 2020. Applications must include required documentation as stated in the application packet before the Board can review the application. The next and last opportunity to submit Poverty Exemption Applications for the 2020 tax year will be at the December 15, 2020 meeting. There will be NO APPLICATIONS ACCEPTED after December 11, 2020 for the 2020 tax year.

A prescribed burn of some grass land will be conducted this coming Saturday, May 16th. The start time is set to happen between 10 and 11 am. The location is just west of the railroad tracks between Fort Road and down to the Cass River on the north.
SALUTE TO OUR SENIORS! We would like to make our community aware of our Class of 2020 project. Today, the downtown streets were lined with signs, honoring the graduates of our Birch Run/Bridgeport High Schools. These signs have been purchased for display to recognize the hard work of the senior class. They will remain in place for public viewing during the month of May and then be turned over to the graduates for keepsakes. If any family/friends would like to purchase additional signs, the cost is $10 each and can be ordered through the link below.
