
Augie Tausend
Augie was appointed by the Township Board in February 2007 to fill a trustee vacancy. He currently serves on the Roads and Drains Committee and Election Committee. He has been a lifelong resident of Saginaw County, living the last twenty-five years in Bridgeport. He recently retired from Delphi Saginaw Steering. He was a Tool & Die maker by trade. The last ten years of his career he was Chairman of the Skilled Trades Apprentice Committee. He also held elected or appointed office within the U.A.W. for twenty four years. He served on the Delta College skilled trades’ advisory committee for ten years.
Augie feels Bridgeport is a great place to live and wants to work to make it even better. He is a member of the Bridgeport/Spaulding United Community Task Force. He feels this Committee can have a real positive influence on the direction Bridgeport and Spaulding need to move for a better future.
Augie’s wife Karen is a lifetime resident of Bridgeport. They have a son and daughter and two granddaughters. His hobbies include golf, bowling, and woodworking.

Frank Morrison
Frank has served
the township for just over ten years, first serving on the Planning
Commission for six years and in his current position as Trustee for
his second four year term.
Mr. Morrison during
his tenure on the Board of trustees has been a member of the roads and
Drains Committee and is currently serving as Chairman of that committee.
Frank is also currently a member of the Township Zoning Board of Appeals.
Some of Mr. Morrison’s
accomplishments include having been Bargaining Chairman of UAW Local
699. Frank held elected office within the local union for twenty-eight
years retiring in 1996. Frank was also a leader in getting a much needed
blight ordinance finalized for the township.
Mr. Morrison is
married and has two daughters and five grandchildren. His hobbies are
many and include golf, hunting, and fishing, and has recently taken
up metal detecting. |

Richard Fisher
Rich began his service
in the last November election as a Trustee for Bridgeport Township.
In addition to this position, he also serves on the Building and Grounds
Committee.
His goals are to
bring in both small and large businesses to our community and make Bridgeport
attractive for people to visit and make a home for their family. He
believes that if all members of this community and businesses work together,
this goal can become a reality.
Rich has been a
member of the Bridgeport-Spaulding Athletic Association for five years
and chairman of the Bridgeport-Spaulding Scholarship Commission for
the past three.
Rich
is married and has a son and daughter. His hobbies are hunting, fishing,
camping, motorcycling and working out at the gym.

Walter LaShore
Beginning in 1997,
Walter LaShore has served Bridgeport Township for three years on the
Planning Commission, and four years on the Township Board as Trustee.
Mr. LaShore currently serves on Bridgeport Township’s Improvement Taskforce.
He is a Deacon of the Zion Mission Baptist Church, a Past Master of
H. York Harrison Lodge #32 F. & A.M., and the Historian/Reporter
for the Saginaw Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
Mr. LaShore is married, has one daughter, one son, and one grandson.
