The Fort Rd Bridge will be closed effective Monday, July 5th so work can begin on its scheduled replacement.  The project is expected to be completed by November 15th.

Fort Rd is a major route for citizens and emergency responders.  During its closure emergency servcies will respond as quickly as possible using the most appropriate route.  Additionally, our neighboring agencies will assist us as needed.  That said, you may see emergency units from Spaulding, Taymouth, Frankenmuth, Albee or Birch Run operating at an emergency scene due to their proximity to the given incident.  MMR, our county ambulance service, will modify its deployment plan to best accomodate response to the affected area.  MMR maintains a response goal of 8 minutes 59 seconds in our community and has committed to meeting that goal.
