The Bridgeport Township Police Department currently has the following staff: The Chief of Police, 1 Detective/Sergeant, 1 Patrol Sergeant, 6 full-time Patrol Officers, 2 part-time Patrol Officers and 1 civilian Clerk/Dispatcher. We are a 24/7 department serving approximately 10,700 residents and responding to an average of 10,000 calls for service a year. Our Officers are highly trained with most carrying Bachelors’ degree and multiple in-service certifications. We have Officers assigned to criminal investigations, emergency service team, undercover drug unit, bicycle patrol unit, evidence technician unit, arson and traffic crash investigations, neighborhood watch and many other details.
