As required by the General Property Tax Act, public notice is hereby given by the Township of Bridgeport that the 2024 March Board of Review will meet on the following dates and times for the purpose of reviewing the 2024 assessment roll, hearing protests and appeals of assessed and/or tentative taxable values, and hearing and deciding on other matters as permitted by law. Appeals will only be heard from the owner of the property or authorized representative. Authorization must be in written form for a representative to act on the property owner’s behalf.

Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.


Wednesday, March 13, 2024: 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Friday, March 15, 2024: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

WRITTEN APPEALS will also be accepted from residents and non-residents alike. WRITTEN APPEALS must be accompanied by FORM 618/L-4035. Appeals in writing are to be mailed to: Attn. Township Assessor, 6740 Dixie Hwy, Bridgeport, MI 48722. To obtain FORM 618/L-4035 or any other questions, call or direct to the email provided above.

Additional dates and times may be added by the Board of Review as necessary. Such dates and times will be posted at the Township Hall.

The 2024 Tentative Ratios and Estimated Multipliers for real property classes in the Township of Bridgeport are:
Agricultural - 43.85 / 1.14025
Industrial - 45.46 / 1.09986
Commercial - 47.66 / 1.04909
Residential 42.36 / 1.18035

Taxpayers or their authorized representative may contact the Assessor prior to the Board of Review dates to discuss 2024 assessed or taxable values using the same contact information to make appointments.
