The portion of Dixie from Birch Run Road to Junction.
Ace-Saginaw Paving Company was the low bidder. This portion also included the Roundabout at Curtis and Dixie. Construction Starting Monday April 29 between Birch Run Road and Junction Road.
Starting Monday, April 29, there will be intermittent lane closures the entire stretch while the contractor works on Joint Repairs. Dixie will remain open.
May 3-8, Milling the surface on Dixie between Townline andJunction will take place. Dixie will remain open.
May 14, Curtis Road detour is expected to begin. Dixie will remain open to thru traffic.
This portion of the project is expected to be completed around Labor Day.
The portion from Willard to Birch Run Road
will likely be bid in June. A traffic signal will be added atthe Burt Road intersection and center left turn lanes will be added for this intersection. Construction for this portion of road will likely begin in late July. The roadwork will likely be complete by November with the signal installation likely in the winter.
